Asprofin Bank Partners with 360 Wowcom to Launch Premium Satellite Phone, Foldable Phone, and 360 Wow Live Digital Ecosystem

September 20, 2024, Roseau, Dominica—Asprofin Bank [1] and 360 Wowcom [2] have unveiled a next-generation phone lineup with a 360 Wow Live Digital Ecosystem App [3], a leap forward in consumer-market phones’ communicative and functional abilities. The devices launched today and the digital life ecosystem app, available in the later stages of Q4 2024, signify Asprofin Bank and 360 Wowcom’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge digital access to consumers, enterprises, and government users. DK Wei Chen, Asprofin Bank’s Director of Technology, affirmed, “The phones and app suite are closely related to Asprofin Bank’s client-focused culture, and this launch today ensures secure round-the-world data connectivity for all.”

As of Q2 2024, several telecommunications companies like Vodafone [4] have started recognizing the data connectivity gaps and have commenced investment rounds in technologies that bridge these gaps. [5] Among this technology race, the 360 Wowcom Satellite Phone solution stands out as the phone of the present, surpassing the Thuraya phone [6] of the past.

Connectivity

With two-chip radios, the phone leverages a seamless switch from traditional cellular 5G data to satellite communications. According to Forbes [7] and Telecoms [8], there is unparalleled access to high-throughput data transmission from low-earth orbit satellites where 4G and 5G signals are too weak or reliable roaming data is unavailable.

Photography

For photography enthusiasts, the new phone offers a 108MP, 50MP, and 50MP triple camera setup with Optic Image Stabilization and AI Engine-assisted Electronic Image Stabilization. Guo Wei Zhen of 360 Wowcom commented, “These features set a new standard in mobile photography, delivering unbelievable clarity, depth, wider color gamut, and true-to-life color accuracy of images.” On paper, it trounces the specs of recently announced phones like the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max with a measly 48MP camera. [9]

360 Foldable

On September 18, 2024, Brian Chen of the New York Times wrote, “The rectangular design of the quintessential smartphone is getting stale for lots of people [….] That’s why the next phone I buy won’t be another “same, same” iteration of the iPhone. It will be a foldable, a phone with a bendable display that flips open like a book.” [10] The 360 Wowcom foldable satisfies these precise needs with a flexible display. The more significant display size on the foldable phone increases the consumer’s productivity, making the handheld a hybrid workspace for individuals. [11] The foldable phone has an under-display camera, making the user experience seamless with little to no camera notch interference. In 2020, ZTE introduced this under-display camera technology [12], significantly improving Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 [13]. These technological leaps have prompted 360 Wowcom to introduce it in their upcoming foldable.

360 Wow Live

360 Wow Live is a new pre-loaded application that creates an easy-to-use digital ecosystem among the slew of new phones launched.

Wallet & Secure Communications

The app contains the ambitious framework to host Asprofin Bank customer wallets in a secure decentralized space that surpasses the requirements of AES and CMEA encryption standards. [14] Clients can make real-time cross-border payments hassle-free within the secure communications app via FIDO-compliant phone biometrics and an in-app 3-fold authentication while leveraging Asprofin Bank’s payment processing, wire transfer, and custodial backend. [15] The messaging app uses Blockchain 4.0 technology to instill confidence in the user regarding privacy and data security by adding a layer of protection to mainstream peer-to-peer messaging services on apps like Signal. [16]

Social Media Space

The social media module tackles one crucial aspect that has since been diluted due to the idolization of high-networking individuals, celebrities, and influencers (Breeze Newspaper): a space where people connect in the digital realm. [17] According to CNN, connecting people in today’s digital age is essential, and 360 Wow Live handles this by creating individual communities, workspaces, venues, locations, and interest bubbles. [18] People can interact with live videos, posts, virtual reality, and comments akin to industry Meta offerings with a twist, markup, and post-building for community projects and workspaces, a place where ideas come to life, and on-the-go digital collaboration is the new mainstream.

Marketplace & E-Commerce

Unlike traditional ad-based intelligence, all data preferences are stored on the user’s phone, and all data posted uses blockchain-driven data, securing privacy. The concept contrasts AI-based preference matching as promised by the newly introduced Apple privatized AI cloud. [19] The AI employs onboard computing power, with an option to access blockchain encryption-based AI while masking the User ID for more complex customer purchase requirements. [20]
